Chicken Pot Pie

Directions

1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).

2. Lightly flour both sides of the puff pastry and the cutting board.

3. Roll out the puff pastry to thin it slightly.

4. Cut the puff pastry into two equal pieces.

5. Spray a cast iron pan with cooking spray.

6. Lay one piece of puff pastry in the cast iron pan, pressing it down to fit the shape.

7. Pre-bake the puff pastry in the oven for 10 minutes.

8. Remove the pan from the oven and fill the pastry with the chicken filling.

9. Cover the filling with the second piece of puff pastry, crimping the edges to seal.

10. Brush the top of the pie with egg wash.

11. Place the pot pie back in the oven and bake until the crust is fully cooked and golden brown, about 20 minutes.

12. Remove from the oven and let cool slightly before serving.
