I use to always get the Pappa's steak rub and I wasn't sure what appears to be the same but now called brisket & steak seasoning. Thus far, I've used it on steaks, blackstraps (venison), and in hamburgers, all which have been great. I would certainly feel this is a good rub for any beef recipes.
Thus far I've added this to my smoke'd wings and pork tenderloin as the main rub and have been totally satisfied with the results. Having used it, I believe this would be excellent on pork, chicken, and fish which I've not tried the last yet.
